Monday - Warm and sunny
An okay day. I got up reasonably early and checked email. Then I went back to bed. Sigh. Still, it was nice.
When I got up later I watched a movie on WOWOW. Today it was The Sugarland Express, an old Goldie Hawn film. She was good in it, but annoying too! It was based on a true story, and was a young whippersnapper director named Steven Spielberg’s first movie for theatres. From what I’ve just been reading, it was “spiced up” a bit for the movie, but it did have some very distinct Spielberg touches. Worth seeing.
In the afternoon I put away 2 boxes of stuff that I brought back from my MIL’s house last week. I have so many cds. Good grief! On the other hand, I now have a lot more of the music that I love. Yay for that.
A little after F came home from work, I started making dinner. Most of it was pre-made…soup from the store, pre-marinated chicken, salad and hash browns, but it turned out quite nice. We both enjoyed it.
In the evening, F watched a lot of his dumb boxing/fighting stuff and then we watched Invictus together. He hadn’t seen it before, but I had. It was great. The only thing was F kept asking me all kinds of questions about it. Finally I just asked him why he didn’t know the answers. After all, it’s not like the events in the film only happened in North America!
And that was my day really. Tomorrow I have a Book Mooch that I might take to the post office to see about sending, and an evening class. Wish me luck with it all! Gotta go. Night!
