Friday - Sunny, then cloudy, and finally rainy

Blooming heck…just had a bit of a quake.  It’s almost 3 am, and Mother Nature is pulling that on us…just not fair.  It wasn’t bad here, but I imagine my friends in Fukushima and Ibaraki aren’t too happy right now.  No tsunami though.

On with my day.  Had a good day really. I overslept terribly, but it didn’t matter that much.  I got up, watched a bit of TV and did a bit of stuff.  In the afternoon I decided to go out.

I had to go to the post office, so I got on my bike for the first time in months. I discovered that it was put away but not locked up.  It had sat there for a couple of months and wasn’t stolen.

I went to the post office, mailed my letter and bought a new gotochi card and some stamps for our Postcrossing.  I got some special Yamagata ones, plus some Mickey Mouse and Friends ones.  After the post office, I continued to a convenience store and got a few things for today and tomorrow.

I came home and watched the end of The King’s Speech and waited for my husband to come home.  He was able to come home at a reasonable time tonight. Yay.

We went out to see a movie, and had a quick dinner at the theatre.  F had a huge lunch by the sound of it, and wasn’t hungry, so he had a starter and I had a meal.  We went to see War Horse, which I liked, but found a little manipulative, especially at the end.

We came home and I watched a lot of TV and F went to bed rather early.  A while ago there was an earthquake, and then another milder one, so hopefully I’ll be able to sleep tonight.  With the anniversary of the big one coming up we’re all a little nervous and Madame Nature is not helping.  Got to go. Night.

Thinking of you today. I spent a long time worrying about you at this time last year, was so relieved when we heard you were okay.

I want to see War Horse, maybe it's not worth bartering for babysitting though?

It depends how much you have to barter, and how much you like Spielberg! It is worth seeing and on the big screen, but personally, I liked Girl with the Dragon Tattoo more, but it is more my type of movie anyway!

Thanks for the thoughts...
