Friday - Warm and sunny

I had a good day today. I got up at a reasonable time and got dressed soon afterwards.  I watched a little TV, but not as much as I wanted as my show wasn’t on!  I was watching Jaime Oliver at noon when F called to say he was on his way.  I’d totally forgotten what time it was so I’m glad he called!  

I went outside to wait for him and took a few snaps of the cherry trees.  They are on the verge of blossoming. 

April 20th update!

  F picked me up after a few minutes and whisked me away to his favourite Chinese style restaurant.  It was okay and we had a nice meal.  We left and he dropped me off at home again.

I weeded a little of the un-flower bed and went inside.  I watched a bit of TV and did some things on the computer.  I also did a couple of Postcrossings, then just before 5 I took them to the Post Office mail box to go out.  Hopefully they’ll catch the last post.  

I came home a few minutes before F was off, and did more weeding in the un-flower bed.  Some of the weeds are really deep.  It looked a little better, but I think it’ll be an ongoing project this year.

F and I had a quiet time for a bit and then went out for dinner.  We tried the new Taiwanese place that opened in Tsuruoka.  It was okay, but honestly was quite like the lunch place we went to!  Gah.  Too much rice and ramen were eaten by this family today.  

We came home but missed the first couple of minutes of The Walking Dead, so I’ll have to try and catch a repeat to see them.  It was a good and spooky show, as always.  That Shane.  He worries me, he does.

F discovered a new channel tonight, one that shows quite a lot of US programs that I’ve always wanted to see, but haven’t been able to.  Tonight I watched my first (sort of) episode of NCIS.  I hope it won’t be the last.  

I also wrote up another couple of postcards tonight because I had 4 arrive today!  That meant that I needed to get a few more in the mail as soon as possible.  I want to try and beat my own record of sent cards per month.  

Watched quite a bit of TV tonight, did a couple of rows of crochet.  I can now stand and hold the top of the afghan to my chest and the bottom touches the floor.  Not much more to go I think.  I’d like to make it a couple of rows longer…perhaps one more repeat of the colours?  It’ll soon be too warm to work on it so I’d really like to finish it up.

That’s about it for me.  Tomorrow I have a class early on and then I’m done. I told F that I’ll probably stay at the school and do my books up a bit, and I think it’s a good idea if I can do it!  I’ve got to go.  Night!
