Wednesday - Hot and muggy, rainy later on.

A goodish day.

I woke up this morning at 7 when F turned on the bedroom light.  I was wearing an eye mask, so it wasn’t the light, it was the sound of it.  He apologized and I rolled over and tried to go back to sleep.  

I finally dragged myself out of bed around 8 am and watched the news.  F watched part of it too. We’ve both been quite interested (like most people) with the story of the 13 boys and their coach in a cave in Thailand.  It’s refreshing to hear goodish news for a change.

I watched my show, F took a shower and spent some time downstairs with his mother I think.  I had breakfast and got dressed, I also washed my dish.  We left the house around 12 and went to the main post office.  We sent off a niece’s birthday present and then F dropped me off at the mall.  I did a little mall-shopping but didn’t buy anything. I had lunch at the Pizza Hut Express but they messed up my order. It wasn’t a big deal and at least I didn’t have to pay too much.  

I finally got bored and went into Doutor and had an iced tea. I checked my apps and made good use of the free wifi, then I started to do a little crochet. I got three smaller squares done, so that was good.  I had begun to worry about F since he’d been gone a while.  

After a bit, F called to say he was done. He came to meet me in Doutor and he had a drink too.  I suggested that he have some lunch, but all the places he suggested were past their lunch times.  We left the mall and went driving, I’m not sure where he was planning to go.  

We passed Kappa Sushi and F saw that they had a Tabi-hodai which is basically all you can eat on.  He suggested going.  Normally you should book it on the internet first, but we thought we’d take our chances.  They did let us in, we were lucky enough to be in for the last hour of it.  We ate quite a bit of sushi and most of it was okay.  F had some noodles and we shared some french fries too.  We finished off with some dessert and then went back to the house.

At the house, I just wanted to lie down. I had definitely eaten too much, and so had F. However, we did have to get something for K’s dinner and my lunch tomorrow.  After a bit, we went out again and picked up stuff at the grocery store.  We brought it back for K.  I came upstairs and spent a bit of time here.  I watched a little telly, Jamie Oliver was on, as was ER when Neela got married to Michael, so I watched those and did a little more crochet.  

I might use this layout....or not!

Around 10 F and I decided to go out for ice cream or something cold.  We just went to Gusto. He had a kakigori and drink bar, I had a fruit sundae and drink bar. It was nice to be out of the humidity and to have drinks too.  

We came back to the house and came upstairs. I wrote some email and didn’t watch TV.  That’s about it.  

Tomorrow I have some laundry I should do and maybe a little bit of Postcrossing?  Apparently, I’ve been doing it for 7 years now. Yesterday was my anniversary.  Woot.
