Sunday - Warm and Sunny, not humid!

I went to bed around my usual time last night and so I woke up at a fairly reasonable time. The fourth time I woke up I think. This morning there were about 3 emergency broadcasts on our phones so we both woke up for them. F told me later that they were practice broadcasts. I just stayed in bed and tried to sleep!

Later on, I got up and went downstairs. F was sitting in the living room watching something on his phone and I asked him if he’d like to go to Mikawa and see the movie. He said yes! I went back upstairs to get dressed and a few minutes later we headed out. 

I suggested going to MosBurger for a quick lunch and F thought it was a good idea. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, but it did take a while. I had a very nice teriyaki burger and an oolong tea that I couldn’t finish. We had a nice lunch but I had to tear F away from his cellphone.

When we got to the mall in Mikawa we were lucky and found a great parking space. We went to the mall and bought the tickets. We had enough points that we got our movie for free. Woot! We bought our popcorn and drinks and went to see Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. I enjoyed it, I didn’t love it, but it was fun and I did laugh. It wasn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen, but I was okay with it. 

After the movie, we went back to the house. F wasn’t feeling that well. On the way to the house, I asked that we go to a 7-11 so I could add money to my Suica Card. I did that easily. Back near the house, F remembered that he needed something for his fish tank, so we went back to Musashi, his hardware store. I just stayed in the car.

We did finally come back to the house and relaxed for a bit. F made a late lunch/early dinner for K and he had also made himself a massage appointment. I decided that I’d go to S-Mall while he was getting his massage. 

We left the house again before 5:30 and F dropped me off at the mall. I did a little bit of shopping and walking around and looking at things that I hadn’t looked at yesterday. I remembered that F needed a small ironing board or something similar to iron his clothes. The hundred yen shop sold a very small one, but I thought that the craft shop might sell better ones. They did! I thought I’d tell F about it later. 

When I was tired of shopping and looking around I went to Doutor again and had a drink. F showed up after 6 pm and didn’t want a drink. We were going to go for dinner, but I remembered to tell him about the ironing board so we went upstairs to the craft shop. F liked the ironing boards. He bought the biggest one he could find. We also renewed my membership at the store and then left again.

We returned to the car and went to Seikkaroh, the Chinese restaurant near our old apartment. We had a nice meal there. It wasn’t the most fabulous, but it was fine.

We followed dinner up with a quick trip to the grocery store where F bought some things to make breakfast for his mother for tomorrow. He’s off work on Monday too. Instead of us having fun though, he’s going to see his doctors because he isn’t doing well at the moment. I’m rather sad about that. 

We had a quiet evening tonight. I took a shower and didn’t watch any TV. F is sleeping but not well I think. It’s too bad that he has to give up his day off to see doctors. 

Well, that is it for me for today. I’m not sure what I will get up to, but hopefully, I’ll be okay.
